OUR PURPOSE
WHY WE DO THIS
VOOM Foundation is a private international medical humanitarian organization made up of volunteer doctors, nurses, health workers and many other support professions who contribute to the mission of the VOOM Foundation. Our mission is to provide impartial sustainable healthcare programs dedicated to quality, with a particular interest in supporting the underprivileged and underserved. Our long-term goal is to develop a sustainable hospital system dedicated to quality, with an emphasis on education and training, public health and prevention, health fairs and outreach, providing new state of the art medical equipment and by providing life-saving heart procedures through our medical mission program.
|
Since March 2013, when VOOM Foundation restarted the open-heart program in Nigeria, we have partnered with three partner hospitals to train and educate the local staff providing necessary skills to support a sustainable open-heart program within the country. To date, VOOM Foundation leads all health organizations in Nigeira in open-heart procedures performed. It is the goal of VOOM and our partner hospitals to perform up to 200 cases per year at each institution giving us the necessary volume to train while continuing to provide open-heart surgery to the underserved.

GLOBAL IMPACT
WHAT OUR FRIENDS OVER THE WORLD ARE SAYING
I’m a survivor of open heart surgery. I give credit to the donors and Voom Foundation for saving my life. Without them by now I wouldn’t have been alive. I thank them so much for saving my life. I’m grateful to them. |
We don’t want to save just one life, we want to save thousands. We don’t just want to make an impression, we want to make an impact. |
On behalf of my family, I’m very grateful to Voom Foundation for all the works they are doing worldwide. Most especially the work they are doing for my dad today. |
